SomaTrac™ is a comfortable, simple, and effective way to unload the effects caused by gravity compression through natural decompression by gently stretching and exercising the lower back. SomaTrac™ reduces and unloads painful stress on joints as well as the neck, shoulder, and knees.

The user has the ability to either lie face-up (supine) or face-down (prone).

Unlike the traditional inversion units, the SomaTrac™ uses a very comfortable non-restrictive foam ankle support. Since the SomaTrac limits inversion to a maximum of 30 degrees it does not suspend the weight of the entire body, therefore it does not require a restrictive locking mechanism that compresses tissues of the feet and ankles.
